See the information below for what to do when you see these warning lights or encounter other specific problems with the projector.

The power light is flashing orange and you cannot turn on the projector.

The lamp is cooling down. Wait until the light turns off and then press the Power button to turn on the projector.

The power light does not come on.

Press the Power button to turn off the projector, check that the power cable is connected securely both at the power outlet and the projector, and press the Power button again. Try removing and reseating the lamp.

Projected images get darker or start to deteriorate, or the lamp warning light is flashing red.

Replace the lamp as described in Chapter 4.

The temperature light is red.

The projector is overheating, which turns the lamp off automatically. Let the projector cool for a few minutes, then turn it back on. Make sure there is plenty of space around and under the projector for ventilation. If it continues to overheat, you may need to change the air filter.

The air filter may be clogged. Clean it as described in Chapter 4 and then let the projector cool for awhile. If this does not work, you may need to change the air filter. See Chapter 4.

If the projector continues to overheat after you clean the air filter, the problem may be caused by damage to the cooling fan or internal circuits. Contact EPSON for help.

The temperature light is flashing orange.

The projector is too hot. Press the Power button to turn it off and let it cool for 5 minutes before using it again.
