Using the ETB command, along wi th the ESC D and ESC B commands, can drastically
reduce the number of data bytes required t o forma print image. Refer to the description
of the SYN command for more i nformation on printi ng bitmap data.

FF Form Feed
Description
Prints the contents of the text buffer and advances the print media. The di stance the
media will advance dep ends on two factors: the feed distanc e specified by the GS L
command and the p resence of a punch h ole. The LabelWriter p rinter will advan ce until
a punch hole is detect ed or until the feed distance (specified by the GS L command)
has been reached.
When the printer is p owered on, the feed dista nce stored in flash memory is used as th e
default distance; the factory default i s7 .5i nches. A new feed distance specified by the
GS L command will override the flash memory setti ng until the printer is eit her
powered down or a reset command is issued (by the ESC @ or ESC * command).
The FF and ESC E commands are the same and produce th e sameresult .
