EPower Over Ethernet Connector Pin Assignments

The Altitude 300-2complies with the IEEE P802.3af specification in its support of two modes of power delivery on the RJ-45 Ethernet jack. Table 17 shows the pins that are used to deliver -48 volts to the wireless port and Figure 14 shows the RJ-45 connector's pin number assignment. The Summit 300-48uses the MDI, Mode A to deliver power to the Altitude 300-2.
