To replace only the thermopile in fryers with the current design pilot assembly see illustration below, use a 7⁄16-inch open-endwrench to loosen the thermopile, then unscrew it from the pilot assembly. Screw the replacement into the pilot assembly and use a wrench to tighten it ¼-turnpast finger tight
