Non-CPU Lenses
ZSetting the maximum aperture using the FUNC.
button and sub-command dial
ASelect [FV LOCK/LENS DATA] for [FUNC. BUTTON]
under [ BUTTON ASSIGNMENT] in the [SET UP]
menu (p.168).
BDisplay the maximum aperture of attached lens by
rotaing the sub-command dial while pressing the
FUNC. button.
MEMO
If the built-in flash, Nikon Speedlight SB-800, or SB-600
are used, the FV lock is activated, the lens focal length
cannot be set. If the built-in flash is raised, close it. If the
Speedlight is attached, turn it off.
If the correct focal length is not listed, choose the
closest value greater than the actual focal length of the
lens.
Lens data is not adjusted when a non-CPU lens is
zoomed in or out. After changing the zoom position,
select new values for the lens focal length and
maximum aperture.
Selecting a focal length sets maximum aperture to the
last value selected at that focal length.
