The midrange model M4000 scales up to 4 SPARC64VI dual core
sockets thus having up to 8 cores, and supports
Memory Chipkill and memory mirroring. Furthermore, the model
M4000 include built-in features such as Dynamic System
Domains, eXtended system boards, and Dynamic Reconfiguration.
Compared to the model M4000 the M5000 scales up to 8
SPARC64VI dual core sockets thus having up to 16 cores, with
the same mission-critical features.
Like the model M8000 the SPARC® Enterprise Servers M9000
models address the mid-range and high-end processing
requirementsof mission-critical IT projects. There are two different
floorstand models, the SES M9000-32 with 32 sockets and SES
M9000-64 with 64 sockets
The entry model T1000 incorporates the UltraSPARC T1
processor. This processor delivers with it´s 8 cores up to 32
simultaneous execution threads and 32 GB of memory. The
SPARC® Enterprise T1000 model also offers 1 free PCI-E slots, 4
integrated Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and 1 SATA disk bay.
The entry model T2000 also incorporates the UltraSPARC T1
processor. This processor delivers with it´s 8 cores up to 32
simultaneous execution threads and 64 GB of memory. The
SPARC® Enterprise T2000 also offers 5 free PCI-E slots (3x PCI-
E and 2x PCI-X), 4 integrated Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and 4
SAS disk bay.
The high end model SES M8000 scales up to 16 SPARC64VI dual
core sockets thus having up to 32 cores. With symmetric
multiprocessing (SMP) scalability from one to 16 processors,
memory subsystems as large as 512 GB, and high-throughput I/O
architectures. Furthermore, the model M8000 includes built-in
features such as Dynamic System Domains, eXtended system
boards, and Dynamic Reconfiguration.
