Grilling with the rotary spit produces a crispy crust and even browning all-round. (Fig. 19) Insert the support frame for the rotary spit in the second level from below. Insert the grilling tray one level further down to collect fat.

Please note: the core temperature sensor cannot be used in combination with the rotary spit. The rotary spit will not function if the core temperature sensor is plugged in the socket in the oven.

ECO

Using the ECO mode is an energy saving way to prepare cakes, small pastries and gratins with hot air circulation. The light and catalytic converter heating are switched off in this mode and the oven will take longer to heat up. When you program the timer, the heating element will be switched off before the cooking time has elapsed, thus exploiting the residual heat. (Fig. 20)

Fermenting

When using the fermenting function, you can raise dough at 38 °C. (Fig. 21)

The light is off in this mode of operation because it would otherwise additionally heat up the oven compartment. You can switch on the lighting for a few seconds by pressing any key.
