WARNING: NEVER cover any slots, holes or passages in the oven bottom or cover an entire rack with materials such as aluminum foil. Doing so blocks airflow through the oven and may cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Do not use aluminum foil to line surface unit

drip bowls or oven bottoms, except as suggested in the manual. Improper installation of these liners may result in a risk of electric shock, or fire.

The installation of your La Cornue appliance must conform with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, in the USA with the "National Fuel Gas Code", ANSI Z223.1NFPA 54, latest edition, and, in Canada, with CAN/CGA

-B149.1, and CAN CGA - B149.2, "Installation Code for Gas Burning Appliances".

The appliance must be electrically installed and grounded in accordance with local codes or in the absence of such codes with the latest edition of the "National Electrical Code", ANSI/NFPA 70 in the USA, and CSA C22.2 "Canadian Electrical Code" - in Canada.

Important - Save the installation instructions for the local electrical inspector’s use.

This product must be installed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter when installed within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

A "T" handle type manual gas valve must be installed in the gas supply line to this appliance.
