Troubleshooting Tips

Make sure the battery is properly charged for 12 hours.

Make sure the battery pack is installed correctly.

Did the handset beep when you pressed the Talk button? Did the display indica- tor turn on? The battery may need to be charged.

Handset does not ring

Make sure the ringer volume setting is ON in the MENU system.

You may have too many extension phones on your line. Try unplugging some phones.

You experience static, noise, or fading in and out

Handset or headset may be out of range. Move closer to the base.

Relocate the base.

Charge the battery.

Make sure the base is not plugged into an outlet with another household appliance.

Unit beeps

Replace the battery.

Memory dialing

Make sure you have correctly programmed the memory keys.

Make sure to follow proper dialing sequence.

If you had a power outage or replaced the battery, reprogram the numbers into memory.
