REMOVE HOUSE FUSE OR OPEN CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION.

This appliance must be supplied with the proper voltage and frequency, md connected to an individual, properly grounded branch circuit, protected by a circuit breaker or time delay fuse, as noted on the rating plate.

PREPARE THE OPENING

lk inch spacing is recommended from the range to adjacent vertical walls above cooktop surface.

EXCEPTION: Installation of a listed microwave oven or cooking appliance over the cooktop shall conform to the installation instructions packed with that appliance.

To eliminate the risk of burns or fire by reaching over heated surface units, cabinet storage space above the surface units should be avoided. If cabinet storage is to be provided, the risk can be reduced by installing a range hood that projects horizontally a min. of 5 inches beyond the bottom of the cabinets. Make sure the wall covering, countertops and cabinets around the range can withstand heat generated by the range, oven or cooktop up to 200° E
