Roastingis cookingby dry heat.Tendermeator poultrycan be roasteduncoveredin youroven. Roastingtemperatures,whichshouldbe low and steady,keep spatteringto a minimum.
Roastingis reallya bakingprocedureused for meats.Therefore,the ovencontrolsare set for Baking or TimedBaking.(Youmay hear a slightclicking sound,indicatingthe ovenis workingproperly.) TimedBakingwill turn the oven on automatically.

Use of Aluminum Foil
Youcan use aluminumfoil to line the broilerpan. This

Rememberthat food will continueto cook in the hot oven and thereforeshouldbe removedwhenthe desiredintemd temperaturehas been reached.
5.Press the STARTDad.Whenthe oven startsto heat. the words“BA~’” and “TEMP’and the changing’ oventemperature,startingat 100°F.,will be displayed.Whenthe ovenreachesthe temperature you set, a tone will sound,
