Light Bulb Replacement

Cooktop Light/ Night Light

Replace with 40-watt incandescent bulbs. Order WB02X4253 from your GE supplier. High intensity 40-watt bulbs (40S11N/1), available in supermarkets and hardware stores, may also be used for replacements.

1To replace combination cooktop light/night light, first disconnect the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel or pull the plug.

2Remove the screw on the right side of the light compartment cover and lower the cover until it stops.

3Be sure the bulb(s) to be replaced are cool before removing. Break the adhesive seal by gently unscrewing the bulbs.

4Raise light compartment cover and replace the screw. Connect electrical power to the oven.

REMOVE SCREW

Oven Light

Replace the burned-out bulb with a 40-watt incandescent bulb (WB02X4253), available from your GE supplier.

1To replace the oven light, first disconnect the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel or pull the plug.

2Remove the top grille by taking out the 2 screws that hold it in place.

3Next, remove the single screw located above the door near the center of the oven that secures the light housing.
