DEFROSTING GUmE
1.Food packaged in paper or plastic may be defrosted without unwrapping, If food is foil wrapped, remove foil tind place food in cooking dish for defrosting. Most food defrosts well using Defrost (3). For more even defrosting of larger foods, such as beef, lamb and veal roasts, use Warm ( 1),
2.After first half of defrosting time, unwrap package and check food. Turn food over, if necessary; break apart or separate food if possible, Shield any warm are~s with small pieces of foil,
3.Be sure large meats tire completely defrosted before cooking,
4.When defrosted, food” should be COOI but softened in all areas. If still slightly icy, return to microwave oven very briefly, or let stand a few minutes,
