Place probe so that point rests in center of the thickest meaty part of roast, or into the cut end or meatiest part of boneless ham or lamb. Point should not touch bone, fat or gristle. For
Insert probe into meatiest part of inner thigh, below and parallel to the leg of a whole turkey.
For dishes such as meatloaf or casserole, insert probe into center.

Cooking Tips
c Use a lower power level; foods will heat more evenly though requiring more time.
Q Be sure frozen food has been completely defrosted before inserting probe. Probe may break off if used in frozen foods.
