ZSelect the Enabled option for the Status setting as shown below.
...then Save
Enable status...
ZChange status to Enable.
ZSave the configuration by clicking on the 
icon.
ZFor proper recovery, disable the Link Loss Alert function on all ports forming the ring.
ZFrom the main port configuration menu left mouse click on the Configuration Icon for each of these ports.
