Note: Without using the 9-volt external, power supply, the base only uses enough power from the host to operate the interface. The image scanner’s battery is not charged when in this mode. Using the 9-volt, external power supply allows the image scanner’s battery to be charged, and no power is drawn from the host.

Scan one of the following codes to program the 3820/3820i for USB PC Keyboard or USB Macintosh Keyboard. Scanning these codes adds a CR and LF, along with selecting the terminal ID (USB PC Keyboard - 124, USB Macintosh Keyboard - 125, USB Japanese Keyboard (PC) - 134).
