Setting up the HP PhotoSmart printer software for two-sided printing

Before you use the Two-Sided Printing Module for the first time, you need to set up the printer software for automatic two-sided printing.

Note: You only need to set up the printer software once.

To set up the HP PhotoSmart printer software:

1.From the Apple menu, select Chooser.

2.In the left side of the Chooser window, select the HP PhotoSmart icon.

3.In the right side of the Chooser window, click Setup.

4.In the Duplex Unit field, select Installed.

5.Click OK, then close the Chooser.

Automatic two-sided printing

1.Load paper in the paper tray. See “Loading paper” on page 11 for details.

2.From your software’s File menu, choose Print. The Print dialog box displays.

3.Select the General print settings:

•Select the number of copies you want to print.

•Select the pages you want to print.

•Select the print order.

4.Click the drop down menu to select the Layout settings you want.
