Using the HP PhotoSmart Utility (Macintosh)

Use the HP PhotoSmart Utility to calibrate and clean your printer, and to print a test page. Open the Utility from the Utilities folder on your hard drive.

Use the Utility to:

Select the printer.

Print a WOW! sample page to see the printer’s photo print quality.

Check the ink level of the print cartridges.

Print a test page to check for clarity after cleaning or to verify that the printer can receive data and print from the computer correctly.

Clean the print cartridges when lines and dots are missing from your print out.

Calibrate the printer to align the print cartridges.
