Disconnecting the Diskette Drive Cable from the System Board

1.Prepare the computer for disassembly

2.Remove the palmrest cover with touch pad.

3.Remove the keyboard.

4.Remove the heatspreader.

5.Remove the display assembly with flex cable attached.

6.Remove the plastic subpanel assembly.

7.Disconnect the diskette drive data cable from the system board as shown.
