Setting pauses

Note

If you want to insert a pause into a telephone number you are storing in your directory, start storing the number (see page 17) and where a

pause is needed press and hold the RECALL button, the pause is added

and stored with the number.

To set a pause before dialling

	You can insert a pause to allow
	your switchboard time to get
	a line before your BT Diverse
	5350 dials the number.
MENU	Press the MENU options
	button.
8 tuv	Press the 8 button.
9wxyz	Press the 9 button.
1	Press the 1 button.
1	Press the 1 button.

Enter the number for the corresponding pause length (e.g. 4 for 6 seconds):

1= 1 second

2 = 2 seconds

3 = 3 seconds

4 = 6 seconds.

OK Press the OK options button to confirm the setting. ‘Entry Saved’ is displayed.

To set the duration of a pause

			You can set the length of a
	R		pause that is inserted after
	R		pressing the RECALL button.

			Enter the pause length:

			confirm the setting.
