This section describes how to add functionality to your

HP Jornada by installing software and how to customize the MS Windows for H/PC 2000 desktop and working environment.

Installing programs

You can add even more functionality to your HP Jornada by installing third party software. A wide variety of commercial software is available for the MS Windows for H/PC 2000 operating system, ranging from custom business applications and system utilities to games and entertainment. Some programs are available on the Microsoft ActiveSync compact disc included with your HP Jornada.

The only programs that will run on your HP Jornada are those designed specifically for MS Windows for H/PC 2000. You cannot run programs designed for Windows 95/98/NT/2000 or other Windows Mobile platforms, like Pocket PC, on your HP Jornada.

The HP Jornada Web site (www.hp.com/jornada/solutions/) includes many downloadable productivity-enhancing programs such as:

·Inso® Quick View Plus®—view e-mail attachments or documents in multiple text, with embedded tables and selected graphic formats.

·MusicMatch® Jukebox—record, organize and play digital music on your desktop PC.
