The external components on the rear panel of the computer are shown below and described in Table 1-3.

1	Wireless light	On: One or more internal wireless devices
		have been turned on.
		✎ To establish a wireless connection, a
		wireless network must already be set
		up.
2	Battery bay	Holds a battery pack.
3	Vent	Provides airflow to cool internal
		components.

Ä To prevent overheating, do not obstruct vents. Do not allow a hard surface, such as a printer, or a soft surface, such as pillows or thick rugs or clothing, to block airflow.
