Caring for Drives

Drives are fragile computer components that must be handled with care.

ÄCAUTION: To prevent damage to the computer and drive and loss of information, ensure that you are discharged of static electricity before handling a drive. Refer to the Maintenance, Shipping, and Travel guide on this CD for more cautions on handling drives. Refer to the Regulatory and Safety Notices guide on this CD for more information on preventing electrostatic discharge damage.
