7.4.10 ns-activate.pl (Activates an entry or group of entries)

Activates an entry or group of entries.

Syntax

ns-activate.pl[ -D rootdn] [ -w password -w - -j filename ] [ -p port] [ -h host] -I DN [ -? ]

Options

Option	Description
-Drootdn	Specifies the Directory Server user DN with root permissions, such as Directory Manager.
-hhost	Specifies the host name of the Directory Server. The default value is the full host name of
	the machine where Directory Server is installed.
-I DN	Specifies the entry DN or role DN to activate.
-pport	Specifies the Directory Server's port. The default value is the LDAP port of Directory Server
	specified at installation time.
-wpassword	Specifies the password associated with the user DN.

7.4.11 ns-inactivate.pl (Inactivates an entry or group of entries)

Inactivates, and consequently locks, an entry or group of entries.

Syntax

ns-inactivate.pl[ -D rootdn] [ -w password -w - -j filename ] [ -p port] [ -h host] -I DN [ -? ]

-jfilename	Reads the Directory Manager's password from the specified file

-?	Displays help information for the command

7.4.12 ns-newpwpolicy.pl (Adds attributes for fine-grained password policy)
