5.Turn the notebook display-side up with the front panel toward you.

6.Open the notebook as far as possible.

7.Lift up the left and right sides of the switch cover 1 to detach it from the notebook.

8.Remove the switch cover 2.

Removing the Switch Cover

Reverse the above procedure to install the switch cover.
