Accepting an Incoming Call

To answer the call:

Press the Talk key.

To mute the ringing sound without rejecting the call:

Press Silence (left softkey) when you receive an incoming call. Press Answer (left softkey) when you are ready to answer the call.

Rejecting an Incoming Call

To reject the call:

Press the End/Power key.

To reject a call and send a text message:

To reject the call and to send a text message to the caller’s mobile phone, press Send Text (right softkey).

In-Call Options

To put a call on hold:

Your phone notifies you when you have another incoming call, and gives you the option of rejecting or accepting the call. If you are already on a call and accept the new call, you can choose to switch between the two callers, or set up a conference call between all three parties. For instructions on how to start a conference call, see “Making a Three-Way Call” on page 90.

1.Press Answer (left softkey) to take the second call and put the first one on hold.

2.To end the second call and return to the first call, press the End/Power key on your phone.

To switch between two calls:

Press Menu (right softkey) > Swap.

To turn the speakerphone on or off:

During a call, press and hold the Talk key to turn the speakerphone on or off. The speakerphone icon () appears in the title bar when the speakerphone is on.

WARNING

To avoid damage to your hearing, do not hold your phone against your ear when the speakerphone is turned on.

To mute the microphone during a call:

During a call, press Menu (right softkey) >Mute to turn the microphone off. When the microphone is turned

off, the mute icon () appears on the screen. Press Menu (right softkey) > Mute to turn the microphone on again.
