To quickly connect to the Internet

You can use Quick Connect to automatically connect to the Internet.

1.On the Home screen, scroll down to on the Shortcut Bar, and then select Manage Connections.

2.Select Settings > Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi Manager opens.

3.Select Quick Connect.

Quick Connect will turn on the Wi-Fi and connect to an available network with the strongest signal or to an open network.

Note If a Wi-Fi session is already active, a message will display saying that the device is already connected.

4.Select Done.

Tip Press and hold the SHORTCUT KEY on the side of

the device to activate Quick Connect.Press and hold to activate Quick Connect

To get security settings and Wi-Fi profile from a T-Mobile wireless router

You can enable the phone to automatically retrieve security and Wi-Fi settings from a T-Mobile wireless router.

On the Wi-Fi Manager screen, select Get Security Key and follow the onscreen prompts.
