Step 4 Tap Version to view the version information of different components of the media phone.

10.3Managing Files

Tap on the home screen to display the list of functions. Then tap My Files to display the My Files screen. On that screen you can manage the files stored in the internal memory of the base unit (namely, the local folder) as well as files on the external storage devices (such as a USB device, a microSD card, and an MMC) that are connected to the base unit.

Managing Files in the Internal Memory

On the My Files screen, tap Local to access the files.

The files on the media phone are stored in the three folders named Music, Pictures, and Videos according to their file type. You can delete one file or all files in a folder. You can also perform other operations based on the type of the folder.

zFor Music and Videos folders, you can play a selected file or all files in those folders.

zFor the Pictures folder, you can view a selected picture or play all the pictures in presentation mode.

Managing Files on External Storage Devices

Folders displayed on the My Files screen may be USB1, USB2 or others, subject to the connected external storage devices and the used interfaces. Tap the corresponding folder to access the device.

You can import a file or all files in the folder to the internal memory of the base unit. You can also perform other operations based on the type of the folder.

zFor music and video folders, you can play one file or all files in those folders.

zFor the picture folder, you can view a selected picture or play all the pictures in presentation mode.

The free memory of the local folder is about 400 MB. When the memory is insufficient, no file can be imported.
