Powering On the Unit

Press the POWER/LIGHT key to power on your Chartplotter. The Title screen is shown until the Chartplott er begins operation. Aft er the Title s creen is displayed, a 30 s econd Navigation Warning screen is sho wn. From these two screens, you can access the following operation options:

Start-Up Options Menu - While the Title screen is displayed, press the

MENU key to access the Start-Up Options Menu. Select Simulator to learn how to use your Chartplotter before taking your boat on the water. Additional menu opt ions a re a lso a vailable from t his menu. See The Menu System: Start-Up Options Menu for more information.

Normal Mode - While the Na vigation Warning screen is displa yed, press the EXIT key. The Chartplotter will enter Normal mode for on-the- water operation.

Demonstration M ode - If you d on’t press any k eys during the Navigation Warning screen, the Chartplotter will enter Demonstration Mode. Demonstration Mode can be turned off (see Setup Menu Tab: Demonstration).
