Chart Instrument View

Chart Instrument View displays a digital instrument panel next to the Chart View. This view provides a digital compass at the top of the view, as well as 3 selectable readouts to the left of the view.

NOTE: Bird's Eye Instrument View and Chart Instrument View both share the same set of 3 selectable readouts. When you change the readouts display on one of these views, you are also changing them on the other view. See Navigation X-Press™ menu: Select Readouts for more information.

1COG: Course Over Ground; the current direction the boat is traveling measured in degrees from North.

2SOG: Speed Over Ground; the measurement of the boat’s progress across a given distance, and is the speed measurement provided by GPS.
