To control snow discharge

WARNING: Snow throwers have exposed rotating parts, which can cause severe injury from contact, or from material thrown from the discharge chute. Keep the area of operation clear of all persons, small children and pets at all times including startup.

WARNING: If the discharge chute or auger become clogged, shut- off engine and wait for all moving parts to stop. Use a stick, NOT YOUR HANDS, to unclog the chute and/or auger.

The DIRECTION in which snow is to be thrown is controlled by the discharge chute control lever (G).

•To change the discharge chute position (H), press downward on discharge chute control lever and move lever left or right until chute is in desired position. Be sure lever springs back and locks into desired position.

The DISTANCE that snow is thrown is controlled by the position of the chute deflector (J). Set the deflector low to throw snow a short distance; set the deflector higher to throw snow farther.

•Press downward on deflector remote control lever (K) and move lever forward to lower the deflector and decrease the distance. Move lever back to raise the deflector and increase the distance. Be sure lever springs back and locks into desired position.

WARNUNG: Sollten die Auswurfrinne oder die Einzugsschnecken blockiert sein, stellen Sie den Motor ab und warten Sie, bis alle beweglichen Teile stillstehen. Verwenden Sie einen Stock, NICHT IHRE HÄNDE, um die Rinne und/oder die Einzugsschnecken zu reinigen.

Die RICHTUNG, in welche der Schnee ausgeworfen wird, wird mit Hilfe des Auswurfrinnen-Bedienungshebels (G) bestimmt.

•Um die Ausrichtung der Auswurfrinne (H) zu verändern, drücken Sie den Auswurfrinnen-Bedienungshebel nach unten, und bewegen Sie ihn nach links oder rechts, bis die Rinne in der gewünschten Stellung ist. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Hebel zurückschnellt und in der gewünschten Position einrastet.

Die AUSWURFWEITE wird durch die Position des Auswurfrinnen-Ablenkblechs (J) bestimmt. Stellen Sie das Ablenkblech niedrig ein, um den Schnee bei geringer Wurfweite auszuwerfen; stellen Sie das Ablenkblech höher ein, um den Schnee weiter auszuwerfen.

•Drücken Sie den Fernbedienungshebel für das Ablenkblech (K) nach unten und nach vorne, um das Ablenkblech zu senken und die Auswurfweite zu verringern. Ziehen Sie den Hebel an, um das Ablenkblech anzuheben und die Auswurfweite zu erhöhen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Hebel zurückschnellt und in der gewünschten Position einrastet.

ATTENTION: Les souffleuses ont des parties rotatives à découvert, ce qui peut causer de graves blessures par contact ou encore à cause du matériel lancé par la goulotte d’évacuation. Gardez la zone d’opération libre de toute personne, de jeunes enfants et d’animaux domestiques à tout moment incluant la mise en marche.

ATTENTION: Si la goulotte d’évacuation ou la tarière se bouchent, éteignez le moteur et attendez que toutes les parties mobiles s’arrêtent. Utilisez un bâton, NON VOS MAINS, pour déboucher la goulotte d’évacuation ou la tarière.

La DIRECTION dans laquelle la neige doit être jetée est contrôlée par le levier de commande de la goulotte d’évacuation (G).

•Pour changer la position de la goulotte d’évacuation (H), pressez vers le bas sur le levier de commande de la goulotte d’évacuation et déplacez le levier vers la gauche ou la droite jusque la goulotte soit dans la position désirée. Assurez-vous que le levier se redresse vers l’arrière et s’enclenche dans la position désirée.

La DISTANCE à laquelle la neige est lancée est contrôlée par la position du déflecteur de la goulotte d’évacuation (J). Placez le déflecteur en bas pour jeter de la neige à une courte distance, et en haut pour la lancer plus loin.

•Pressez vers le bas sur le levier de commande à distance du déflecteur (K) et déplacez le levier vers l’avant pour abaisser le déflecteur et diminuer la distance. Déplacez le levier vers l’arrière pour hisser le déflecteur et augmenter la distance. Soyez certain que le levier se redresse vers l’arrière et s’enclenche dans la position désirée.
