± Communicating with the printer logic card. v The fiscal interface card

The interface card provides the POS terminal communication and power interface, and power conversion functions.

v The fiscal memory card

The fiscal memory card holds a nonvolatile memory module where long-term printer transaction totals are permanently stored. This fiscal memory card is imbedded in epoxy and sealed to the metal fiscal housing, which provides security from tampering.

v The CompactFlash assembly

The CompactFlash assembly contains the CompactFlash card, which is where the printer's electronic journal is stored.

Attention: Opening the fiscal enclosure may be performed only by government-approved service personnel. Also, in some countries, changing the CompactFlash card may only be performed by government-approved service personnel.
