Troubleshooting
Before calling for repair service, check the following items for possible remedies to an encountered symptom.
Symptoms | Possible solution |

No power | • Make sure that the AC power cord is |
| plugged into a power outlet. |
| • Unplug the power cord, wait for 60 |

| power outlet, and turn on the TV again. |

No picture | • Check video connections at the back of |
| the TV to see if they are correctly |

Good picture but | • Increase the volume. |
no sound | • Make sure that the TV is not muted. |

Poor picture | • Sometimes, poor picture quality |
| occurs when an activated |
| camera or camcorder is connected |
| while another activated peripheral is |
| connected. In this case, turn off one of |
| the peripherals. |
| • make sure the room isn’t too bright. |

Horizontal dotted | • This may be caused by electrical |
line | interference (such as a hair dryer, or |
| nearby neon lights). |
| • Turn off the equipment. |

Remote operation | • This remote control is a universal |

Symptoms | Possible solution |

The picture leaves | When the TV is used in rooms (locations) with |
“trails” or appears | low temperature, the picture may leave trails |
slightly delayed | or appear slightly delayed. This is not a |
| malfunction, and the TV will recover when the |
| temperature returns to normal. |
Note
If your problem is not solved, turn your TV off and then on again.
