This button is used to set the DVD player to

BOn button [26]

This button is used to turn on the DVD player.

NDon’t turn on the DVD player until you’ve com- pleted, and double checked all connections (pages 20–25).

C Number buttons [34, 35, 53]

O	These buttons are used to enter title, chapter, and
	track numbers and to enter times for locating spe-
P	cific points in time.
	D Audio button [41]
Q	This button is used to select foreign language
	soundtracks and audio formats (e.g., Dolby Digital
R	or DTS) on DVD-Video discs.

SFor Video CDs you can select left-channel, right-

Tchannel, or stereo.

V	This button is used to select subtitles on

KMenu button [31, 33]

This button is used to display a menu on a DVD or to open the Disc Navigator when using a JPEG disc, or VR format DVD-RW disc.

LTop Menu button [31, 33]

With DVD discs, this button displays the main menu. With a JPEG disc, it displays thumbnails of the images. With a Video CD, it turns PBC on or off.

M Aspect/Zoom button [40, 46]

This button is used to change the view mode. Press- ing and holding it for a few seconds selects Zoom mode.
