A-3-1. Overview

The display used for the OPEN 150 is a LG 15.1” TFT active matrix color liquid display (LCD); its model no. is LM151X2 or its equivalent. It is a TTL interface LCD panel. It comprises amorphous silicon TFT attached to each signal electrode, a driving circuit and a backlight. This LCD has a built-in backlight with inverter. The 38 cm (15.1”) diagonal display area contains 1024 x 768 pixels and can display more than 262,144 colors simultaneously.
