3.Locate a suitable PCI expansion slot, and remove the screw that attaches the expansion plate to the computer. Save the screw for Step 6.

CAUTION

If you plan to connect the adapter to an MVIP bus, the location of the adapter depends on the other MVIP adapters. See Connecting the Adapter to an MVIP Bus on page 14 for instructions before proceeding with the installation process.
