OTHER BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONS

Resuming Bluetooth Connections

V1BLUE can store pairing information for up to seven devices and recall it at any time, allowing a portable device to reconnect whenever V1BLUE is powered on, or when a device comes into communication range. Once initial pairing is completed, re-pairing of devices is not necessary. If an eighth device is paired, the pairing information for the first device is overwritten.

Each time the V1BLUE unit is powered on it will automatically reconnect with the Wireless iPod Dock. Automatic or manual reconnection of your mobile phone or other Bluetooth device depends on the reconnection settings of that device. If automatic reconnection is preferred, ensure that the device is configured to reconnect automatically. Typically a device will give the option of automatic reconnection, manual reconnection, or “Ask” reconnection, where the device will request authorization to reconnect. Please refer to the user manual of your connected device for details.

Disconnecting Devices

All active Bluetooth connections can be terminated in the following way:

Press and hold the STOP/BAND key for 5 seconds until the display shows “DISCONNECT ALL.” If after 5 seconds the display does not show any message, there are no active connections to terminate. Please remember to de-activate automatic re-connection of any device you do not wish to reconnect.

RADIO OPERATION

Press the FUNCTION/ button repeatedly until the main display shows “TUNER.

AM or FM frequency will appear on the display.

Press the STOP/BAND button to switch between the AM and FM bands.

Tune to the desired station as follows:

Manual Tuning

Repeatedly press the SKIP/TUNING

or

buttons until the display shows the exact

frequency of the desired station. Use the Manual Tuning method to tune to weak or distant stations that are not strong enough to be recognized by the Automatic Tuning system.

Automatic Tuning

Depress and hold the SKIP/TUNING or buttons until the display begins to move, then release the buttons. The Tuner will search up or down the band for the next strong signal and stop on that station. Repeat this procedure until the tuner stops on your desired station.

FM Stereo signal is indicated by the “ST” indicator.

If the FM Stereo reception is noisy or weak:

Press the ST/MONO button on the remote control to select FM

Mono mode.
