• Ifrackshavebeenleftinovenduringtheeleaningprocess, theyshouldbetreated
asfollows. After thecleaningprocess is completedand theovenhascooled, buff
the underside of rack edges with Scotch-Britescour pad or rub lightly the
undersideof rack edges witha coating of vegetableoil. Usea light application
of oil so it does notsoil the oven. This will make the cleaned racks slide more
easily.
To remove occasional spillovers between cleanings, use a soap-filled scouring
pador mild cleanser; rinse well.
It is better to clean the oven regularly rather than wait untilthere is a heavy build-
up ofsoil inthe oven.
During the cleaningprocess, the kitchen should bewell ventilated to help
eliminatenormal odors associated with cleaning.
DO NOT USECOMMERCIAL OVEN CLEANERS.
DO NOT USEALUMINUM FOIL OR OTHER LINERS IN THE OVEN.
Oven Door Trim
Slightlydampena cloth or papertowel with soapy water or nonabrasivecleanser such
as Fantastikor 409. Do not use excessiveamounts of water or allowwater to rundown
throughthe air vents underthe door handle since this will causestreaks which will be
visiblethrough the glass door.White parts may becleaned with chlorinebleach or a
nonabrasivecleanserthatcontains chlorinebleach.Do not use _ abrasivecleansers
ovencleaners, or scrub with any abrasive materials, such as S.Q.S.pads, Scoth-Brite
pads,etc.
