Click the right button to select My Computer, then select Properties —
System Properties — Device Manager — System Devices — Advanced Power Manage- ment Support. Follow the appropriate procedure below.
For Windows® 95, click Settings and deselect Enable power management support (the check mark (u) next to it disappears).
For Windows® 98, select Disable in this hardware profile (a check mark (u) appears next to it).
