DiSEqC™ (Digital Satellite Equipment Control)

The DiSEqC™ system is used for control systems with extended control facilities. DiSEqC™ utilises a serial, bidirectional transmission mode with one master and one or more slaves. The data bits are generated with pulse width modulation of the 22 kHz carrier already existent, and are superimposed with 600 mVpp of the LNB remote feeding voltage. The digital code words are composed of 8 data bits and one additional parity bit for the recognition of transmission errors. Several code words generate a DiSEqC™ command. The code word entry is to be effected in the hexadecimal code.
