Sound settings
In order to reproduce the AC3 format, set your receiver to “2 of 2" or "2 of 2 (2ch)" in the audio menu under "Stereo." The corresponding transmission – "5.1 Ch" (5 channels + 1 subwoofer channel) is then indicated at “Dig. output”.
Only a few programme providers broadcast the AC3 format. As long as no AC3 signal is received, you can only carry out the usual stereo and mono settings or select the transmitted language.
Switching off sound
Press the button on the remote control to mute the sound. This symbol appears on the screen.
Press the button again to restore the sound. The standard volume display bar is then shown for several seconds.
Even though you can change the programme while in mute mode, it will remain muted until this mode is cancelled or you correct the volume.
