The idealstraightstitchhas threads locked between two
layersoffabric as illustrated[magnifiedto show detaih.
Ifyou look at the top and bottom ofa seam notice that
there are no gaps. Each stitchissmooth and even.
When adjustingthe needle threadtension,the higher the
number, the tighterthe needle thread tension.
Results depend on:
-stiffnessand thicknessof the fabric
-number offabriclayers
- type of stitch

If the bobbin thread shows through on the right side (Top
side) of the fabric, and the stitch feels bumpy, turn the dial
to a lower tension setting number to loosen the needle
thread tension.

If the needle thread shows through on the wrong side

In some instances, you may need to adjust the bobbin
thread tension.
