If you pull the range out from the wall for any reason, make sure the Anti-Tip device is engaged with the bracket when you push the range back against the wall.

o Let burner grates and other surfaces cool before touching them or leaving them where children can reach them.

fitting or hanging gar- ments while using the

appliance. Be careful

when reaching for items stored in cabinets over

the cooktop. Flammable material could be ignit- ed if brought in contact with flames or hot oven

surfaces and may cause severe burns.

o Do not use water on grease fires. Never pick up a flaming pan. Turn off burner, then smother flaming pan by covering pan com- pletely with a welFfit- ting lid, a cookie sheet or a fiat tray. Flaming grease outside a pan can be put out by cov-

ering with baking soda or, if available, a mu3ti-purpose dry chemical or foam-type fire extinguisher.
