One-touch operation and easy operation features(CD player, cassette deck and LD player)

When the system is in standby mode, the operations as described below are possible provided that the associated components are connected through system control cords.

ÖUse the main unit keys for operation.

Preparations

1Ensure that system control cords are connected.2Set the power switch of the cassette deck and LD player to the ON position.3Set the power switch of the power amplifier to the ON position.4Load the source component with the software to be played.5 Press the (ON/STANDBY) key of the AV CONTROLCENTER to put it to standby mode.

ÖThe clock information is displayed in standby mode.

Function available with the play key operation

ÖCD player and cassette deck

1Press the play key.2The system is switched from standby mode to ON mode.3 The input selector is switched automatically.4 Playback starts.

Function available with the eject key operation1Press the eject key.

2The system is switched from standby mode to ON mode.

3 The tray panel of the source component opens.

ÖCD player and cassette deck

ÖThis operation is not available from the eject key of a double cassette deck.

Operation available by switching the input selector

ÖTurn on the system before switching the input selector.

1Select the desired input with the input selector.2 The selected source component starts to play.

ÖThis operation is available when the CD, TAPE 1 or LD input is selected.
