Preparing the remote control
Loading batteries
œRemove the cover.∑Insert batteries.Insert two (R03) batteries following the polarity indications.éClose the cover.•The supplied batteries may have shorter lives than ordinary batteries due to use during operation checks.
¤CAUTIONDo not leave the battery near fire or under direct sunlight. A fire, explosion or excessive heat generation may result.
Operation
When the Standby indicator is lit, the power turns ON when you press [RECEIVER] on the remote control unit. When the power comes ON, press the key you want to operate.
When operating the connected components, always press the input source key of the component you need to operate first to swith the remote control unit to the selected input source mode, and then press the keys of the corresponding operation.

•Placing the remote sensor in direct sunlight, or in direct light from a high frequency fluorescent lamp may cause a malfunction.
In such a case, change the location of the system installation to prevent malfunction.
