Operation and Maintenance

NOTE: When the Energy Save mode is activated, the imager shuts down the film processor heaters and 30 minutes later shuts down the processor drum motor. The Energy Save On screen is displayed on the local panel. If the imager is in the Energy Save mode, it automatically begins warm-up when a job is received. The imager automatically returns to Energy Save mode when the job is printed. The Energy Save mode will not be activated if there are jobs pending in the Active, No Media, or Undelivered queues. These jobs must be cleared or deleted by the Key Op, if they are in the undelivered queue.

If an image has been resized or cropped, an icon appears on the bottom of

 

 

 

the film. There are three types of icons that appear.

 

 

 

Crop. The image perimeter is removed to allow the image to fit on the

 

 

 

film and print at the same scale as the anatomical area of interest.

 

 

 

An image might be cropped if it is too large to print on the selected film

 

 

 

size, and the size of the area of interest is important to retain.

 

 

 

CAUTION:

 

 

 

 

 

 

If anatomical areas of interest are near an outer edge of the

 

 

 

image, they might be removed from the image when it is

 

 

 

printed.
