Checking Camera Status The icons that appear on the camera screen indicate the active camera and
picture settings. See page 8 for a list of the icons.
To check the current camera settings:
!Turn the Mode dial from the Off position.
If is displayed in the status area, press
the Flash/Status button to display additional
settings.
Press to redisplay the status information
at any time.
!Press the Flash button.
The current camera status icons are
displayed in the bottom half of the Flash
screen.
!Press the Shutter button halfway down
when Liveview is on. Current aperture,
shutter speed, and digital zoom values are
displayed.
Other icons temporarily disappear.
