Getting help
Picture is too dark. ■Turn on the flash (page 13).
■Stay within the flash distance (Camera specifications, page50).
■Use Fill flash (page13) or change your position so light is not behind
the subject.
■Increase Exposure Compensation (page16).
Camera does not
recognize the
microSD/SDHC
Card.
■Purchase a certified microSD/SDHC Card.
■Format the card (see page36).
Caution: Formatting a card deletes all pictures and videos,
including protected files.
■Insert a card into the slot (page 5).
Camera freezes up
when a card is
inserted or
removed.
■Turn the camera off, then back on. Make sure the camera is turned off
before inserting or removing a card.
Memory card full. ■Insert a new card (page5), transfer pictures to the computer
