Function name:

Allowed Group

Function description:

The Allowed Group function allows the IGMP Snooping to set up the IP multicast table based on user’s specific conditions. IGMP report packets that meet the items you set up will be joined or formed the multicast group.

Parameter description:

IP Range:

The switch supports two kinds of options for managed valid IP range, including “Any” and “Custom”. Default is “Any”. In case that ”Custom” is chosen, you can assign effective IP range. The valid range is 224.0.0.0~239.255.255.255.

VID:

The switch supports two kinds of options for managed valid VLAN VID, including “Any” and “Custom”. Default is “Any”. When you choose “Custom”, you can fill in VID number. The valid VID range is 1~4094.

Port:

The switch supports two kinds of options for managed valid port range, including “Any” and “Custom”. Default is “Any”. You can select the ports that you would like them to work and be restricted in the allowed group configuration if ”Custom” is chosen.
