6.5.3Apple Network

To use GNS-8000B on Apple MAC operating system, enable AppleTalk network support.

If your AppleTalk network uses extended networks, and is assigned with multiple zones, assign a zone name to GNS-8000B. If you do not want to assign a network zone, enter an asterisk (*) to use the default setting. This setting is

disabled by default.

6.5.4Linux (NFS) Service

To use GNS-8000B on Linux OS computer or server, enable Linux (NFS) service. GNS-8000B supports NFS version 2.0 and 3.0. This setting is disabled by

default.
